The Internet Lodge meets four times per year at King George Masonic Hall, Calgary on the 3rd Saturdays of February, September and November at 9:00am and the third Wednesday evening of May at 7:30pm.

Coffee and donuts (and muffins) are available prior to all meetings.  A light lunch will follow the installation of officers meetings in November.

Dress is business casual (with ILoR golf shirts being worn by Lodge members)

Our research and education part usually takes place in the boardroom at Lodge break and consists of a major presentation (listed below for each meeting) as well as regular items of "Ask the Expert" and "Where I've Been and What I've Seen" sessions.

Research and Education: Bro. David Naughton-Shires from Ireland will be making an online presentation - "Art in Freemasonry".  Bro. Naughton-Shires produces an excellent online magazine of original Masonic artwork contributed by brethren throughout the world.  Have a look at the website - http://masonic-ae.com/ - to see the quality work which he produces.

There is no doubt that this was an excellent and enlightening presentation.

The presentation was followed by our regular items of "Ask the Expert" and "Where I've Been and What I've Seen".

By Notice of Motion and subject to the approval of the Grand Master, our Bylaws have been changed and the May meeting will now take place on the 1st Saturday of May at 9:00am.  If our bylaws have not been approved by the time of this meeting, we will meet at this date and time by dispensation.

Research and Education: Excellent papers were presented by RW Bro. Don Gillies and RW Bro. Dick Hopkins.

Election of Officers

Research and Education: VW Bro. Ken Madden will making a presentation on one of his many interests - watches.

It is a short, 16-slide @ 20sec/slide presentation about the Omega Speedmaster Pro 'moonwatch' and it's wearing by Masonic Brother Buzz Aldrin on the moon.  The presentation is focused on information about the watch, but shows Brother Aldrin with his Masonic ring, presenting a Scottish Rite flag to the Texas Scottish Rite, and information about Brother Thomas Stafford on the Apollo Soyuz Test Project mission in 1975. Pictures show both wearing their watch on their important missions.

It concludes with a Brotherhood-themed message and with a personal tie-in to the presenter.

Installation of the 11th Master of Internet Lodge of Research and the investiture of other Lodge Officers.

Paper/Presentation by the new Worshipful Master of the Internet Lodge of Research will be given.  At this meeting a lunch will follow the meeting.
