Online Backup

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

I’ve been looking for a company that keeps a backup of my data for a reasonable cost and I believe I found it – Carbonite.

Carbonite.com

Carbonite.com

I did my “due diligence” read all the reviews and then took the 15 day test drive and it worked like a charm.  So I dug DEEP into my pocket and paid $54.95US for a year’s subscription and a year of peace of mind should my house burn to the ground etc.  It took quite a few days to upload my initial backup but then I am stuck on a slow connection as Telus doesn’t give a very good service to Airdrie.

To my friends (if any exist) – If you decide that this MAY BE for you, drop me an email ’cause then I will recommend you and I will get three extra months free and you will get one extra month free.  Make sure you email me BEFORE you register and download the trial version or we will both miss out.
